About the Show

The Delaware Auto Show (DAS) celebrates its 11th year. The premiere event in 2006 was held at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. The Chase Center continues to serve as it location in the heart of Wilmington’s Riverfront.

Delaware has deep roots in the auto industry. Wilmington-based DuPont Co., which used to own part of General Motors Corp., was the largest supplier of paint to the U.S. auto industry. Yet the state never had its own auto show until 2006. The first show was produced by a team of dedicated News Journal Media Group individuals.

Each October, DAS is one of the best-attended events in Delaware. DAS is a great, family friendly event that brings auto enthusiasts and new cars together where you can check out a wide variety of new, classic and exotic vehicles in a non-selling environment.
