The 2011 Delaware Auto Show was the most successful in the event’s five-year history. A record of 24,751 people attended the 2011 show, making it the largest annual event at the Chase Center. 16,680 square feet of show space was added this year to accommodate more vehicle selections. An impressive array of fuel-efficient models was highlighted by the $100,000 Fisker Karma, which had only appeared at two auto shows in the U.S. previously.
Celebrity appearances this year included former Phillies Darren Daulton and former Eagle Jeremiah Trotter as well as current Eagle, Riley Cooper. Family-friendly attractions included visits by Marvel characters Thor and Captain America, a delightful roundup of favorite mascots and hot air balloon ride, which was provided by presenting sponsor ING DIRECT.
The Delaware Auto show would like to thank all of its sponsors, exhibitors, team members and everyone who came out to the show. See you all next year!
